I'm not sure how people can diss Space Shuttle. It packed the most I've ever seen into a 2600 title and was really fun and challenging to play. When I introduced a friend of mine to Atari last year, this was one of the few games he thought was cool.

Great to see Bill Budge demonstrating one of my favourite games from my days on the Apple ][ -- especially good to contrast it with the Atari 2600 shuttle simulator (and its designer).
Sit through the end credits so that you catch a second show, "Random Access", a computer news roundup, at the end. Lead story is Intel licensing of the 8088 chip to IBM so they can manufacture it to keep up with demand! Can you guess which magazines are the fastest growing in 1984? Or what modem software to use?
Ah, memories...now back to my 300 baud modem to call up my favourite BBS...mine!

Derek ... I have to agree .. Shuttle Simulator really looks like crappy piece of software ;-). Graphics is really poor ;-).. But as programmer says it's VERY REAL !!! :D . Well the episode is very entertaining. It's so cool to watch people to be fascinated about simple graphics and storylines of the games ;-) ... Well I'm with them... I love 80's computers ...

I totally have to agree the shuttle game sucks and the other geek that works for Atari has a freaky look
pay attention when he is laughing he looks like a serial killer
you will see geeks assume the role of poets talking about their lame weird games
there isnt much else to see besides this but still worth it
I must say I respect this guys

Hahaahah watch the scene with the geek showing his shuttle simulator, looks crap even for those days, even the presenters don't look impressed by it.

I really like this show but it cuts off at 18 minutes before the show is finished. Its worth downloading and the sad thing is that gary kildale is the guest host and he seems like a really nice guy but hes dead now.
